The Pepsi Sweet Room
The Sweet Room
Step into a decadent dreamworld with Pepsi’s Sweet Room – an arcade Pop-Up at Oxford Street’s Future Stores celebrating the launch of two irresistibly indulgent flavours: Strawberries ‘N’ Cream and Cream Soda.
Building on the campaign’s concept of an AI-powered “Sweetness Detector”—a tongue-in-cheek machine that measures just how sweet various objects are compared to the new flavours—we were asked to craft an animated backdrop that embodied the playfulness and whimsy of the nostalgic Y2K-inspired universe.
A Pepsi x Yatta collaboration
Following our recent collaboration with Pepsi on the “Win Merch” campaign, this marked Yatta’s second partnership with the Pepsi creative team—another opportunity to create something truly ‘sweet.’
We were commissioned to expand the ‘Pepsi Treats’ brand identity, extending the retro-futuristic vibe of the TVC into a fully immersive experience. From kickoff to final delivery, we operated as one seamless team, using FigJam for fast-paced, collaborative ideation, staying tightly aligned every step of the way.
More than just an activation
Pepsi’s Sweet Room was an immersive sugar-rush of early 2000’s nostalgia designed to tempt Oxford Street crowds to step inside and drink in the vibes.
The Future Stores venue is equipped with 14 ultra-large LED screens, forming a panoramic 3D canvas that transforms the room into a fully immersive brand experience.
“Yatta were an absolute pleasure to work with, taking full ownership of the project and leaning in across every stage, from brief to delivery. Dependable, calm under pressure, and handled every curveball we threw their way with ease. Despite a tight timeline, they consistently pushed the creative, resulting in an outcome that exceeded expectations.” – Thomas Brigg, Design Lead at PepsiCo
