Motion Folks
Bristol’s motion & animation meet ups from the folks at Yatta.
We began Motion Folks with a simple mantra in mind; ‘If it doesn’t exist, build it’. Our aim was to offer a creative space for the local motion and animation community to gather, eat pizza, grab a beer and get inspired. In short, we wanted to herd the nerds.
Our first two events sold out in around 5 minutes – ‘Glastonbury Festival for motion designers’ was a joke thrown on Instagram – which we’ll take!
Events feel wholesome and welcoming. It’s a lovely thing to be surrounded by peers with a common interest, battling similar problems each day.
We’re very proud of the community that gathers at Motion Folks and look forward to continuing giving back to the thriving creative community in the South West.
